Update/Upgrade from an eLicenser-based product For updates/upgrades, an extra step is needed: If the Download Access Code is valid, the corresponding product license will be shown in the dialog box that can be closed now.In case your Download Access Code came with bundled hardware, you will also be asked to enter the matching serial number of the device. Enter the Download Access Code and click on.A dialog box pops up, prompting you to enter your Download Access Code.
In the top-left corner, click on the button labeled 'Enter your Download Access Code'.Your operating system's download folder is the default setting. Optional: Go to 'Settings' (gear symbol at the top) and verify the set storage location.If you don't have one yet, you will be asked to register. On startup, the Steinberg Download Assistant performs an auto-update to make sure you have the latest version installed.Start the Steinberg Download Assistant on your computer.You are now ready to redeem your Download Access Code and activate the license.
